My friend is very gifted but could not pusrsue her career as an artist due to some shitheads that would not let her into Art School. Now she'll be a doctor. I love this picture since it was able to capture the moment in a way a camera would not have been able to. The colors seem surreal, but they however fit the image perfectly creating a joyful atmosphere. The eye first moves from the red bicycle to the body of the little girl, then to her head, following her eyes, wanting to see what he is laughing about. When I look at this composition I question myself what this setting was, I know however that she used a photograph to paint this picture.
